RTS radio technology

Thanks to the use of drives with a built-in radio transmitter, we get much more possibilities to configure the roller shutter control system as well as greater flexibility in interior design. As in the case of wired drives, we do not have to mount the controller on the wall near the roller shutter. Because the signal is transmitted by radio, the wall-mounted controller can be installed in any other place. We can also use remote controls and control our blinds while sitting comfortably in an armchair.

RTS - radio technology with one-way protocol.

RTS (Somfy® Radio Technology) is a classic and Somfy patented radio protocol that is the pioneer and model for secure home radio control. This one-way protocol is the first easy way to create a smart home. This technology allows for quick installation without wiring, ensuring flexible and scalable operation. ​

Advantages of RTS technology:

• wireless technology - RTS radio technology enables mutual communication between individual devices; their installation is trouble-free and does not require wiring,
• one-way information flow - radio technology enables data transmission only in one direction without notifications and feedback about the positions of controlled devices,
