The most refined type of conglomerate, containing over 90% natural quartz in the form of ground stone or sand, and a binder—usually epoxy resin. Various additives are used in its production, such as glass or ceramic fragments, coloring pigments, and granite or marble particles, which influence the final appearance and durability. Modern production technologies enable the production of slabs with excellent repeatability, while maintaining a rich color range and a variety of textures.
